This demo version of GFMaster has been supplied to Steve Bye
who with the help of his wife Belinda, runs the F1 Software
library and may do with it whatever he sees fit.
Preface
~~~~~~~
Well, it's the morning after the night before, and it was a
bloody good one. I've got 2 fags left and am on the last cup
of coffee, so please bare with me.
Before I start I'd like to say hello to a few people:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Louise (my wonderful wife), Mike & Kaz (my kids), Kev Hales,
Dave Cherrington, Steve & Belinda Bye, Phil the Coat, Matt,
Gary, Rachel, Clare, Louise (Dave's girlfriend no1), Loz
(Dave's no2), Paula (who spent all last night snoggin Dave
while 1 & 2 were looking for him!), Yeti, Goat and basically
everyone else who drinks in Wolverhampton on a Saturday
night, especially in the Feline & Firkin, Mooney's and The
Venue (the only good rock spot in town).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well now that's out of the way I'd like to say welcome to the
GFMaster demo. As the word DEMO suggests this is a very
small and slightly disabled version, but before I tell you
about that I'll try to explain what GFMaster is all about
(not easy in my present condition).
GFMaster plays and displays a collection of Scales/Arpeggio's
and Examples for you to learn, thus helping your guitar
playing, I hope?. Once a scale has been selected from the
menu it will:
* Play the correct note's in that scale.
* Display the finger positions along the neck.
* Display the Tablature for the selected scale.
This demo version contains a total of 41 scales/arps/examples
which are:
* Scales Menu: Major Scales : C, D, E, F#, Ab, Bb
Alternative : Db, Eb, F, G, A, B
Stretch : C, Eb, F#, Bb
C Maj Extended : First String Shift
* Harmonic Menu: Harmonic Minor : D, G, A[1]
Melodic Minor : C, D, G, A
Pentatonic : G maj, G min, A min, D min
Extended Pent : A, D, E (All minor flat 5)
* Exercises Menu: Exercises : 1, 5, 13
Arpeggio's [1] : 2, 8, 16, 86
Arpeggio's [2] : 95, 99, 103
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Only 1 fag left and now drinking tea, bloody horrid!!!!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Like I said, this is a slightly disabled version and in this
demo you cannot:
* Alter the playing speed.
* Turn the sound ON/OFF.
* Turn the Scale Shape ON/OFF
* Save a screen as IFF.
* Or use the Print options.
Also:
* In this demo, when you select a scale, etc. the info icon
is displayed for about 5/6 seconds. This does not happen
in the full version.
* And, the scale will only play once, unlike the complete
version, which repeats the scale until a mouse button is
pressed.
Well, that's about it really apart from telling you what you
get when you buy the complete version of GFMaster [F1-132].
and where you can get GFMaster [F1-132] from.
GFMaster [Disk No F1-132]
* Contains a MASSIVE 141 Scales/Arpeggio's/Examples.
* All disabled options work.
* Continuous play until mouse button pressed.
* And no irritating info icon before each scale.
Also on the disk you will find:
* Another 120 arpeggio's in ASCII (Text) format.
* 120 arpeggio's in M2T (Music2Tab F1 disk No F1-71) format.
* The Guitar. A guide detailing the development of the
guitar from it's birth up to the present day. The Guitar
also includes information on string types, Tips on looking
after your guitar, Tuning your guitar plus an introduction
into understanding Tablature.
Guitar Fret Master can be bought from; F1 Software (formally
F1 Licenceware) and any of the other PD Libraries named on
the intro screen by asking for disk No F1-132 and should cost
£3.99 plus a little for post and packing.
Also, if you haven't already bought it, why not try; GCDir2.
This program contains over 300 chords and displays at least 3
different playing positions on the screen for each chord,
over 1000 different positions in total. And also includes
its own Tuner. Other programs on the disk include; UGT a
stand alone tuner and Songbook which is a collection of 22
songs.
Guitar Chord Directory 2 Pro (GCDir2) can also be obtained
from the above Libraries at the same price by asking for disk
No F1-69.
Well that's all. I'm of to the shop to get some fags and
coffee. Hope you like the program enough to dig deep and buy
the complete version of this or GCDir. If you have any
problems at all then please don't hesitate to write or if you
have any comments good or bad then I would also like to hear
from you.
Bob.
